Sandy submitted on 2/14/2005 1:03:24 PM : Hello, I made Chitra Nag's recipe, Lamb Vindaloo a couple of weeks ago. I tried to e-mail here twice to ask a question but her e-mail was not working. I loved the lamb stew but the lamb came out tough. She did not say to put a lid on the pot. I would like to make another lamb stew but do not want tough meat (too expensive!). Can you please give me detailed information on how to slow cook meats? Thanks in advance for your help! Sandy

Lopamudra submitted on 2/9/2005 5:04:00 PM : Hi, Thanks to this website, I could keep myself alive in the early days of my marriage. I had never cooked before, but realised that I was really good at following written directions. So thats how I got started into cooking. Now, 3 years later, I still come back from time to time to get some new cooking recipes into my kitchen. The recipe that is the most like by my friends is the Red Egg Curry (people remember me with it and I remember this website with it). I have liked most of the recipes on this website. I have great faith in the taste of food loving Bengalis. Thanks for the website. Love it. Lopa

ChipUser submitted on 12/8/2004 3:53:07 PM : The pictures used to illustrate various ingradiants in a recipe do not do justice to the otherwise excellent information. Take a look at the pictures used for various types of lentils & many spices. You could use extreme close-ups in many cases to show how each seed really looks like so that people can buy the correct item when they visit a grocery shop. What is the use of something that looks like any other red or brown or black powder/mix/whatever?

Please send me some pictures and I will try to apply those to the ones you are talking about. Thanks SN

stuti submitted on 11/29/2004 4:56:19 PM : can u plz add some new recipes...the recipes are great but there have been no new recipes offlate

Yes, I know. I am very busy with our new venture and so don't get much time to work on angithi. I am assigning my wife to take over the management. Soon we will add new recipes. Thanks for your patience. SN
