Ingredients

- 1.5 Cup Rice
- 1.5 Cup Bengal Gram
- 1 Tsp Fenugreek seeds
-  To taste Salt
- 1 Tbsp Cooking Oil

Instructions

1. Take par boiled rice and wash thoroughly add fenugreek seeds and soak in water for six hours. Wash dal and soak in water for about six hours. Drain water and grind dal to a paste. Drain water and grind rice with fenugreek seeds to a smooth paste.

2. Mix above ground mixtures thoroughly into a smooth batter of pouring consistency and cover by a wet cloth and keep aside for overnight.

3. Add salt and mix. Heat a griddle (tawa), smear with oil. Pour a large spoonful of the batter in the center and quickly start spreading it with the back of the spoon with a circular clockwise direction.

4. Cover the pan with a lid and cook on low heat for about a minute. Turn it over and cook the other side till both sides are light brown and crisp. Repeat and make about twenty dosas.

5. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
