Ingredients

- 1 Lb (Boneless) Chicken
- 2 tbsp. Yogurt
- 1 Chopped Onion
- 4 Pods Garlic
- 1 Tsp. Turmeric powder
- 1 Tsp. Red Chili Powder
- 4 Chopped Green Chili
- 2 tbsp. Kasoori Methi
- 3  Cardamom
- 0.5 Inch piece Cinnamon
- 5  Cloves
-  To taste Salt
- 5 tbsp. Cooking Oil

Instructions

1. Remove skin and wash chicken. Marinate with yogurt, turmeric, red chili powder and salt and set aside for 15 minutes.

2. Grind cardamom, cinnamon and cloves to a fine powder.

3. Heat oil, add garlic, green chili and the powdered spices from Step 2 and fry lightly for a minute. Add the chopped onion and fry till light brown.

4. Add the marinated chicken and fry with occasional stirring till the oil starts separating. Add 1 cup of water and cook for another 10 minutes at medium heat till the chicken is done.

5. Add the kasoori methi and cook for a few more minutes. Serve hot with rice or chapattis.

6. Note: Kasoori methi is available in powdered form in Indian store.
