Ingredients

- 1 medium size (cut into 2 cm pieces) Chicken
- 2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 3 chopped, cut into wedges Tomato
- 10 chopped Shallots
- 6 cloves Garlic
- 1 large (chopped) Onion
- 2 tbsp Red Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- 6 twigs (chopped) Cilantro
- 2 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1/2 cup Cooking Oil

Instructions

1. Marinate chicken pieces with salt and turmeric powder. Keep aside for 20 minutes.

2. Grind tomato, shallot and garlic to a fine paste adding little water as necessary. Keep aside.

3. Heat oil and deep fry the chicken pieces - a few at a time till crispy. Drain oil. Keep aside.

4. Heat oil in a fresh pan and fry onion till brown. Add the blended paste and fry till good aroma comes out.

5. Add red chili powder and cook for about 5 minutes. Stir continuosly. Add the fried chicken pieces and stir to mix, add little water if necessary.

6. Add sugar and adjust salt. Remove from heat. Sprinkle garam masala powder and mix.

7. Dish out and sprinkle on some chopped coriander leaves.Squeeze over some lemon juice about 2 tsp or so. Serve at once. yummy!!
