1. Clean the chicken and cut into medium sized pieces.
2. Mix yoghurt, salt, red chilly powder, pepper powder, garam masala powder, ginger & garlic paste, red color (optional) and add the chicken and marinade for 5 hours or (over night)
3. Cook the marinated chicken in the marinade itself without adding any water till dry, save any marinade left out after cooking.
4. Skewer the chicken pieces over the gas flame for 2 to 3 min (till nice smell wafts from chicken). When cool shred the chicken and keep aside
5. Heat pan add butter, cashew nut powder stir for 1 min add tomato puree, tomato ketchup, chilly sauce and mix well, cook for 5 min.
6. Add the shredded chicken, red color, kasoori methi and mix well. Add fresh cream and check seasoning.
7. Simmer till oil floats up, garnish with fresh cream and coriander leaves. Serve hot with any kind of roti.
