Spicy Fried Chicken

Ingredients

- 1 medium Chicken
- 4 pods Garlic
- 2 Inch piece Ginger
- 1 tsp or to taste Salt
- 0.25 tsp Cumin Seed Powder
- 0.25 tsp Coriander Seeds
- 0.5 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- 0.5 tsp Red Chili Powder
- 0.5 cup cup (maida) All Purpose Flour
- 1 Cup Cooking Oil

Instructions

1. Clean and cut chicken into 8 medium sized pieces.

2. Grind the ginger, garlic, cumin powder, coriander seeds, garam masala and red chili powder to a fine paste.

3. Apply this paste along with the salt to the chicken and allow to marinate for about 30 minutes. Roll each marinated pieces in flour to get an even coating.

4. Heat oil, add the chicken and fry on high heat for about a minute, flipping the pieces a few times. Reduce heat, cover and deep fry on a slow fire, turning occasionally until delicate brown and tender.

5. Serve hot with mashed potatoes or French fries.
