Microsoft Internet Explorer
To enable session cookies in Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6 (IE6) follow these steps:
- Select “Internet Options” from the “Tools” menu of the IE toolbar.
- Select the “Privacy” tab.
- Click the “Advanced” button. The “Advanced Privacy Settings” window is displayed.
- Check the "Override automatic cookie handling" checkbox.
- Check the "Always allow session cookies" checkbox.
- Click the OK button on “Advanced Privacy Settings”.
- Click the OK button on “Privacy”.
- Cookies are enabled.
To enable session cookies in all other versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) follow these steps:
- Select “Internet Options” from the “Tools” menu of the IE toolbar.
- Select the “Security” tab.
- Select “Internet” as the “Web content zone” and click the “Custom Level” button. The “Security Settings” window is displayed.
- Scroll down the “Security Settings” window until you reach the “Cookies” section.
- Select the “Enable” button under “Allow per-session cookies (not stored)”.
- Select the “Enable” button under “Allow cookies that are stored in
your computer”.
- Click the OK button on “Security Settings”.
- Click the OK button on “Internet Options”.
- Cookies are enabled.
Netscape Navigator
To enable cookies in Netscape version 7 follow these steps:
- Choose “Preferences” from the “Edit” menu on the tool bar.
- Expand “Privacy & Security” and select Cookies.
- Click the radio button labeled “Enable all cookies" or “Enable cookies for the originating website only” or “Enable cookies based on privacy settings (if this option is selected, click on view and make sure that the level of privacy is not 'Custom').”
- Click OK.
- Cookies are enabled.
To enable Cookies in Netscape Navigator version 6 follow these steps:
- Choose “Preferences” from the “Edit” menu on the tool bar.
- Expand “Advanced” and select Cookies.
- Click the radio button labeled “Accept all cookies" or “Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server.”
- Click OK.
- Cookies are enabled.
